Don't Abuse Time

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Don’t abuse Time, for it is Allah Who is the Time.” [Sahih Bukhari]

Time exists in different forms in the universe. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) is the Creator of everything tangible and intangible in the universe. Thus, to abuse something which is simply operating according to the physical laws Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has defined for it, is to abuse its Creator.

A common trait of losers is that they blame time for not being able to do things; “I didn’t get the time to do __.” “There wasn’t enough time.” “I was too busy with __.” Winners, on the other hand, get the same 24 hours but manage to do whatever they want in it. Prioritise!
